You can transfer a recipe as a normal product between stock locations, and have the ingredients decremented at the same time.

Similar to Internal/Direct stock transfers or Internal Requisitions.

A recipe item is essentially an Informal Product, that can have a Department and Account allocated. The transfers will allow negative amounts to be entered, and to be transferred.

Note - the full list of ingredients must be available in the source location or the transfer will fail.

  1. From [Dashboard], go to [Inventory], [Stock Locations].

  2. Click on the name of the chosen stock location.

  3. Click the green ‘+ New’ icon and click on [Recipe Transfer].

4. In the pop-up, select the name of the recipe to be transferred, and select [Recipe Transfer] from the list and click on [Save].

5. Enter the quantity to be transferred and press 'Enter' on your keyboard. Click [Complete] when finished.

6. Once the transfer has been marked as ‘Completed’, Purchase Plus triggers the creation of an additional transfer that takes the ingredients of the recipe out of the source location, as well as transferring into the stock location.
